We had such a great experience at Tasty Restaurant! Hansen was our server, and he was absolutely wonderful. He was very attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. When he found out we were celebrating my mom’s birthday, he went out of his way to make it special and surprised her with a birthday treat. It was such a thoughtful touch and really made her feel celebrated. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and Hansen definitely made our experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!

Decided to check this place out on a whim and the food and service were amazing! Shout out to Adrian, our server for the stellar recommendations. The peking duck and Pan-Fried Shrimp & Chive dumplings were our favorites. We will definitely be back.

Everything was delicious and served hot. We had our usual favorites we often get from other Dim Sum restaurants in Houston. Service was impeccable! We ordered the crystal shrimp dumplings, shrimp balls, soup dumplings, shrimp and chive cakes, Chinese broccoli and Kung Pao shrimp. My husband and I will definitely be back again. The only thing missing was my favorite sauce made with fried garlic, chili, and sesame seeds. I was able to spice it up with the chili oil, Siracha, and soy sauce provided. We also ordered the Mango pudding for dessert and that was sweet, creamy and wonderful with bits of mango! Yummy!!

Amazing experience at tasty. Made reservations and phone staff was very responsive and accommodating. The interior of the restaurant, from dining room to restroom, was breathtakingly beautiful and hygienic. We ordered the pork BBQ buns, scallion pancake, and soup dumplings as starters. Everything was so flavorful and fresh, came out quickly and steaming hot the way I like. The main entrees we ordered were the beef stir fry and whole Peking duck . These did not disappoint . I am so happy. They have happy hour and lunch specials during the week apparently, and a rewards program to earn points. Not mad I came on a Saturday though . This was worth every penny.

Really wanted to like this place more than I did but still glad we tried it out. We ordered several dishes and most were mediocre. The roast chicken had a nice light crispy skin but the meat itself was dry and hard to eat. The chicken feet was more rubbery than I prefer. The typical tender, fall-off-the-bone, gelatinous texture was missing. The table all-star was the eggplant shrimp. A surprising and interesting runner up was the crispy duck egg rolls. By no means do I proclaim to be a dim sum expert but I’ve had my fair share. I was hoping this might be San Antonio’s redemption after Dim Sum Oriental abruptly closed down but it honestly doesn’t come close. Nice to have around in a pinch but not a place I’d bookmark for the future. The atmosphere is modern and clean. The service was excellent. However, the dim sum leaves much to be desired.
